A day in the life...

Some of Isabelle's latest forms of entertainment:

1. The new/old swing set that our neighbors brought over for us this weekend. Isabelle now stands by the window saying "ning, ning" to request a swing (the mosquito bites for both of us are an added pleasure).

2. Climbing into - and falling out of - her shopping cart.

3. Taking a break on her garden "seat" for a drink of milk. (She pulls all of the veggies out to make some room for her tush.)

Isabelle's first camping adventure...

Jay called asking for a rainy day idea... I suggested building a fort or tent to crawl around in. This was the result. Four days later, it's still in our living room. We take it down at night if we want to watch TV, and when I bring Isabelle downstairs in the morning, she points to it and says, "Uh oh," and back up it goes.

Visit with the Gerbs

It's been quite a while since we've seen the Gerbers, so it was great to see them today. Estyn is 19 months now and talking in both Vietnamese and English! The kiddos had to check each other out, and from what I could tell, they just keep getting bigger - and cuter!

Banana ring ring

16 months old!

So our little bambina is 16 months old today... she's walking/running everywhere, repeating all kinds of words, has finally cut another tooth (for a grand total of 7), and seems to have grown but I don't have any height/weight stats. She also has been testing her climbing and balance skills... this time by standing in her little zoo train. She keeps us laughing!

First pigtails!

Isabelle's hair is longer (and wilder) than ever, so in an attempt to keep it out of her face I tried out some pigtails yesterday. Putting her hair up proved much easier than taking a picture of her!

Evel Knievel rides again

Belle is no longer content just to sit on her car; she'd much rather stand on it. I have no idea what the first face was about, but it cracked me up!
