Mostly self-explanatory - and overly-narrated. It's hard to be the camera crew and the director at the same time!

A little morning exercise.

One of these days we will teach her words in addition to animal sounds.

(And because I know someone will ask... the purple spot on her outfit at the beginning of this clip is her diaper. She popped the snaps of her outfit with all of those deep squats!)

Big Brown

We don't really care for horse racing too much, but we do love to play dress up! Brown dress, brown hair, brown eyes - I think we have a winner! Does this mean we get three crowns??

Cool kid

I haven't posted for a while because we've taken more video lately, now that Isabelle is on the move (hope to get at least one of those posted soon). Belle's not walking quite yet, but she's very into doing "down-dog" (the yoga pose) and then standing up from that position on her own. She's taken a few tottering steps, but no real sense of balance yet. She's also asserting her independence sartorially... this morning she HAD to put her fleece vest on, and she then wore it all through breakfast and our morning routine. Yesterday it was her knit hooded sweater - even though it's two sizes too small and it was 90 degrees out - and then her swim diaper, which thankfully I was able to convince her to wear on her arm. I'm going to have to batten the closet/drawer hatches!!

Post-pic smiles

Isabelle had her photos taken last week by the photographer whose contest you all helped her to win ... and she hardly cracked a smile the whole time. Then we got home and she was hammin' it up! We get to see the results of the pro photos Wednesday, so I'll post a link then if there is one. (She wore this little striped outfit for some of them - thanks to the goody bag from the Partsch girls!)

Royal meltdown

This funny little hat/crown (from one of our hand-me-down boxes) is one of the few hats Isabelle not only tolerates, but apparently likes. I wasn't involved in this photo shoot, so I can't tell you the particulars of what went down, but you can imagine...

Baby's got a new ride

Still in her pjs and looking very tired, Isabelle wastes no time getting in her "sleigh" and relaxing in the morning, waiting to be pulled around the house.
