9 months old today!

Three-quarters of a year - holy cow!
Here's the update on Isabelle: Her two bottom teeth are continuing to come in (see pic), but no others yet. At her 9 month appt. she weighed in at 19 lbs 9 oz (60th %) and she is 28 1/4 inches tall (75th %). She must be burning extra calories now that she's on the go!
Belle is busy crawling, officially, now. She's pulling herself up on anything in sight, and still loves the dogs. We're pretty sure she is signing "dog" now, and she is waving to everyone she sees too. (This has been a confusing set of gestures to distinguish between. At first we thought that either 1) she was waving at the dogs; or 2) she was calling everyone she saw "dog"; or 3) she just had a spasmatic arm - all possibilities! A week of paying attention to context has convinced us that she really does know the difference between waving "hi" and signing dog, even if her motor skills aren't quite to the level where the two are distinct. For instance, she signs "dog" when she sees the dogs' beds in our room, even if the dogs aren't there. Then again, we could just be overweening parents ; )) Check out the video to see what you think...

(Thanks to Jay's Aunt Susie and Uncle Joe for Belle's outfit!)
