Our budding archaeologist

Look closely and you will see that Isabelle is wielding one of my make-up brushes and is practicing her excavating skills, gently sweeping loose any fine particles of dirt from the zebra she has unearthed from her midden of toys. She loves this little brush, and will use it on anything that she comes in contact with. Including the dogs.

(Notice also that I choose to interpret this behavior in terms of my anthropology background - and not as "cleaning." Cleaning is no fun! Excavating - now that's interesting!)
